Are you an almond grower (or tomato grower) who is interested in cover crops, but not sure if they’d provide an economic benefit? Alyssa DeVincentis (UC Davis) and Ellen Bruno (UC Berkeley) developed a calculator that allows you to put in factors such as the number of years you plan on covercropping, hourly wages for labor, and almond prices to determine if this practice pencils out.
