Consider attending the North San Joaquin Valley Almond Day at its new location of the Ceres Community Center. This is a half-day event covering various almond topics including pests, disease, irrigation, varieties, rootstocks, weed management, and more. This is a yearly event organized by local UC Cooperative Extension advisors to provide information for almond professionals and growers in the northern San Joaquin Valley, but others outside this region are encouraged to attend. This event is free to attend with coffee, donuts, and other snacks provided. DPR and CCA continuing education are pending approval.
